On Sunday my mom was wearing a white dress with big black polka dots on it. Sofia was fascinated by the dress and kept staring at the dots. Then she started to try to grab them off the dress! She kept scraping her little hands across the dress and then staring at her empty hands in confusion. So cute! Here she is in a Sunday Christmas outfit with her dad!

Shake it Sofía!

Sofía moves like no other baby I´ve ever seen. She loves to wiggle and kick her legs and flap her arms. Her legs are super strong and she can stand up by herself, holding all her weight. All she needs is someone to balance her. This video is a quick demonstration of her moves, a toned-down version of what she usually does. Her favorite place to go wild is on the changing table, of course!

¡Sofía se mueve como loca noche y día! ¡Le encanta patear con fuerza y mover los brazos, pura lombriz! Es muy fuerte y ya se puede parar solita, sólo necesita que alguien la agarre para que no se vaya de lado. Este video es una muestra pequeña de lo mucho que se mueve esta niña. ¿Y su lugar favorito para menearse? El cambiador, por supuesto! ¡Para llenarse de popo hasta el cuello!

Sofia's First Laugh!!

Sofia laughed for the first time on Tuesday! Hooray! It was her daddy that got it out of her by playing a jumping game. By the time I got the camera and started filming, she was already getting tired of it. But watch for a little laugh towards the end of the video. Pretty soon we'll have her talking! :)

Sofía se rió por primera vez el martes! Estábamos super contentos. Fue su papi que le sacó las carcajeadas con brincos divertidos. Pero ya se había cansado cuando por fin encontré la cámara. Por eso sólo hay una risa en el video y viene casi al final. Pongan atención porque pasa tan rápido que se les va a pasar. Muy pronto va a comenzar a hablar! Los queremos mucho!
